There are several types of Enemies in Zombs.io: Zombies, Monsters and Bosses.
Zombies
The standard enemies that will swarm the players at night.
Behavior
- Zombies always aim to the gold stash of a player and attack the first player's building in a straight path to their target.
- Zombies use melee attacks against players or pets if those are in range.
Types
- Wave after wave the zombies will increase in strength, attack area and health.
- For each zombie tier, the zombies will first appear small, to slowly grow in size and bring bigger and bigger weapons.
- Large purple zombies and higher can kill players without any armor in less than one second.
- Orange zombies can kill players even with maxed armor in seconds.

Monsters
Enemies that are gathered in camps located around the map.
Tough miniature versions of bosses, that don't scale in level.
Behavior
- Monsters ignore any player or pet close to them, unless provoked.
- Monsters can start attacking even if indirectly damaged by the AoE of a cannon tower; for this reason it's better building the base at safe distance.
- Player's towers won't target monsters.
- Monsters respawn shortly after being defeated.
Bosses
Every 8 waves, a boss will appear along with the zombies. Bosses also drop tokens which can be used to evolve your pets when they reach a certain level.. To get those tokens, the player must land at least one attack on the boss, before the towers kill it. They will give a large amount of gold upon defeating them.
Behavior
- Bosses have similar AI to zombies, but are stronger.
- Unlike monsters, bosses are automatically targeted by player's towers.
- Normal zombies will attack anything while bosses dodge towers and go straight for the gold stash.
